Birdbuddy has begun selling its new line of smart bird feeders, which the company originally previewed at CES 2026 earlier this year. The launch marks a shift in branding, with the previously announced Birdbuddy 2 Mini now marketed as the Birdbuddy Nook. The company positions the Nook as a smaller, more affordable option, describing it in its own words as its "most accessible smart bird feeder yet."
The flagship model, formerly known as the Birdbuddy 2, is now called the Birdbuddy Home. This version includes specific hardware upgrades, including a redesigned camera with a wider field of view and integrated solar panels. Both the Nook and the Home are currently available for purchase through Birdbuddy's online store. The company stated that some configurations will become available at other retailers later this month.
