Pons (PONS) reached a record high of $0.52 on Thursday following the opening of trading on Binance Alpha. The token last traded near $0.50, representing a 21.87% gain over the preceding 24 hours. This price action lifted the market value of the Robinhood Chain launchpad token to approximately $362 million, securing the 118th position by market capitalization.

Binance Wallet announced on September 2 that PONS and the meme coin FLORK were added to Binance Alpha. PONS is available for trading on Alpha 1.0 exclusively via market and limit orders. The listing occurred against a broader market backdrop where total crypto market capitalization declined by over 2% to $2.26 trillion, with both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) trading lower.

The debut coincided with significant speculative interest in the second listed asset. Wu Blockchain reported that FLORK climbed approximately 293% and added more than 80% after its entry onto Binance Alpha, with its market value briefly reaching roughly $17.5 million.

Trading data supports the upward momentum in PONS. A Dune dashboard tracking Robinhood Chain activity recorded 95,969 trades from 8,014 wallets over the past day. This activity generated $64.94 million in daily turnover, placing PONS among the three most-traded assets on the network during that period.

Lifetime metrics show larger scale for the token. According to Dune data, PONS has accumulated over $702.12 million in total volume from more than 2.1 million trades and 66,422 unique wallets. BeInCrypto previously noted that the launchpad itself has processed $4.54 billion in volume on Robinhood Chain.

The token currently trades about 3% below its peak price. The sustainability of this listing-driven bid remains to be seen, depending on whether trader attention persists beyond the initial debut.
