Dover (NYSE: DOV) reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $2.2 billion, an 8% increase year-over-year, as demand in artificial intelligence and power generation infrastructure drove top-line growth. The Downers Grove, Illinois-based manufacturer posted GAAP diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of $2.50, a 14% rise compared to the same period in the prior fiscal year.
On an adjusted basis, Dover reported diluted EPS from continuing operations of $2.88, up 10%. Adjusted earnings from continuing operations totaled $388 million, a 7% increase. The company noted that organic revenue growth was 7% for the quarter. For the nine months ended September 30, 2026, Dover generated $6.5 billion in revenue, an 8% increase, with GAAP diluted EPS from continuing operations rising 10% to $6.56.
Richard J. Tobin, Dover’s President and Chief Executive Officer, attributed the performance to secular growth markets including energy transition, single-use biopharma, semiconductor manufacturing, and space launch. Tobin stated that order performance remained a highlight, with bookings increasing across all five operating segments and outpacing shipments. He noted that a significant portion of the company’s backlog is scheduled for delivery in 2027.
During the quarter, Dover announced two bolt-on acquisitions intended to expand capabilities in attractive markets and add manufacturing capacity. The company also repurchased over $330 million of its own shares. Tobin indicated that the balance sheet and liquidity position provide flexibility for additional capital deployment.
For full-year 2026, Dover expects GAAP EPS in the range of $8.93 to $9.08 and adjusted EPS of $10.60 to $10.75. This guidance assumes full-year revenue growth of 7% to 8%, or organic growth of 5% to 6%. The company stated it is on track to deliver double-digit adjusted EPS growth in 2026.
Dover operates through five segments covering engineered products, clean energy and fueling systems, imaging and identification technologies, pumps and process solutions, and climate and sustainability technologies. The company has approximately 24,000 employees and annual revenue exceeding $8 billion. Management plans to discuss these results on a conference call hosted on October 22, 2026.
