Di Rezze Family Office has named Joseph Tonnos as its Managing Director, a role that includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for Soren Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: SORN) and Praetorian Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: PTOR). The appointment, effective October 20, 2026, signals a consolidation of financial leadership across the Miami-based single-family office’s sponsored blank check companies.
Tonnos, who will also join the board of directors for both entities, brings more than 15 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, and capital markets. His recent professional history includes serving as a Managing Director at Roth Capital Partners, LLC, and previously as a Principal and Associate Portfolio Manager at Meteora Capital, LLC. Arghavan Di Rezze, Principal of Di Rezze Family Office, stated that Tonnos has worked across the SPAC market since 2017, including as a six-time sponsor and an investor.
Alongside Tonnos, both SPACs appointed new independent directors to their boards. Soren Acquisition Corp. added Lieutenant General (Ret.) Roger L. Cloutier Jr. and Austin Criden. Praetorian Acquisition Corp. added Cloutier, Jimmy Vaiopoulos, and Charles P. Garcia. Cloutier retired from the U.S. Army after 34 years of service and commanded NATO Allied Land Command from 2020 to 2022. Criden serves as a consultant to West2East Empire. Vaiopoulos is Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of Stack Capital Group Inc., while Garcia is Managing Partner of R360 Management Inc.
Di Rezze Family Office invests only its own capital across strategies such as pre-IPO minority investments and SPAC sponsorship. The two companies currently hold more than $500 million in trust combined. Soren is focused on completing a business combination with a target in the healthcare industry, led by CEO Arghavan Di Rezze. Praetorian targets traditional sectors that can be transformed through automation and artificial intelligence, led by CEO Justin Di Rezze M.D.
Justin Di Rezze described the office's approach as viewing SPACs through a founder's perspective. He said the structure allows for access to public capital markets while maintaining business control, aiming to add value with transparency as long-term investors. The office seeks partners prepared to take the next step in their development.
Further details regarding these appointments are available in each company's Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
