Creatd, Inc. has acquired a 10% equity stake in C2 Capital Group, Inc., the operator of the live-streaming platform C2 Live, and signed a non-binding letter of intent to purchase the remaining 90% of the company. The move integrates C2 Live’s growing audience into Creatd’s portfolio of creator-driven platforms while advancing the company’s strategy to uplist on a national exchange.
The transaction leverages the communities Creatd has fostered through its Vocal platform and C2 Live’s audience, which numbers over 1.5 million users. C2 Live, launched in August 2024, allows creators to connect with audiences in real time through interactive and gamified experiences. The platform supports creator monetization via virtual gifting and in-app features designed to encourage community participation, while also integrating AI-enabled tools to help creators engage and grow their audiences.
Creatd expects the initial 10% investment to add approximately $3.6 million to its current shareholders’ net equity, which stands at nearly $5 million. Consequently, the company projects reporting about $8 million in total stockholders’ net equity in its third-quarter financials. Creatd plans to complete required due diligence to finalize the acquisition of the remaining 90% stake in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Jeremy Frommer, Creatd’s CEO, stated that the company possesses a clean capital structure, a solid cash position, and a scalable operating model. He noted that as of September 25, 2026, an effective S-1 filing created over $15 million in market value of unrestricted publicly-held shares. Frommer described the C2 transaction as adding a synergistic livestreaming business to Creatd’s AI and creator platform capabilities.
Lamont Wilcott, CEO of C2 Live, said Creatd brings complementary technology, creator-platform experience, and public-company expertise to the partnership. He indicated that the minority investment provides a practical framework for collaboration while the companies complete diligence and evaluate the proposed acquisition of the remaining equity. Wilcott expressed intent to improve the app, add new features, and support more creators and viewers based on growth achieved since launch.
Creatd focuses on building and supporting tech ventures that utilize artificial intelligence. Through its network of subsidiaries and strategic investments, the company aims to create opportunities for content creators and entrepreneurs.
