ChronoScale Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: CHRN) has expanded its contracted AI infrastructure deployments, projecting an annualized revenue run rate of $1 billion by the third quarter of 2027. The Menlo Park-based company announced on October 1, 2026, that it has extended a contract with an existing artificial intelligence infrastructure customer and secured a new agreement. These additions, combined with current deployment schedules, form the basis for the projected revenue milestone.
CEO Cenly Chen characterized the expanded relationships as validation of demand for ChronoScale’s services. The company stated that its strategy involves building long-term partnerships with AI infrastructure clients to scale capacity in line with their growing compute needs. Chen emphasized that the firm’s priority is disciplined execution to deliver the necessary infrastructure at scale.
In a related development, ChronoScale confirmed the completion of the sale of its Ekso Bionics business unit. This divestiture follows the earlier strategic combination of Applied Digital’s cloud business and EKSO Bionics Holdings, Inc. Management indicated that exiting the Ekso Bionics segment allows the company to concentrate its operations and capital allocation on its core accelerated compute and AI infrastructure business.
The company now focuses on providing scalable GPU-based infrastructure designed for AI training, inference, and high-performance computing. Its platform aims to offer dedicated compute environments that prioritize performance and operational consistency for demanding workloads.
ChronoScale noted that achieving this contracted revenue remains subject to various risks and uncertainties. Key factors include the timely deployment and commissioning of planned infrastructure, the availability of power and equipment, and the company’s ability to access capital on acceptable terms. The $1 billion figure is a non-GAAP operating metric calculated by multiplying quarterly contract revenue by four, based on current assumptions rather than a specific forecast.
The firm highlighted its intent to address growing enterprise and AI-native demand for dedicated computing environments capable of handling increasingly complex workloads.
