Chris Pratt stated that his Christian faith is the most important aspect of his life he intends to pass on to his four children. The actor shared these remarks in an interview with Fox News Digital, which aired ahead of the October 21, 2026, premiere of season 2 of the Prime Video series "Terminal List."
Pratt described his faith as the framework for how he begins and concludes each day. "My faith is how I start my day, it's how I end my day," he said. He characterized fatherhood as both a blessing and demanding work, noting his goal to emulate the positive actions of his own father while correcting his mistakes. "I basically want to get right everything my dad got right and get right everything my dad got wrong," Pratt said, acknowledging that he expects to make errors in both areas.
The actor is married to author Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. The couple married in June 2019 after dating since 2018 and becoming engaged in January 2019. They have three children together: daughters Lyla Maria, born in August 2020, and Eloise Christina, born in May 2022, and son Ford Fitzgerald, born in November 2024. Pratt also has a son, Jack, born in August 2012, with his former wife, actress Anna Faris. Their marriage ended in a divorce finalized in 2018 after a separation announced in 2017.
In the interview, Pratt was joined by "Terminal List" co-star Constance Wu. The series is based on Jack Carr's novel and follows Navy SEAL James Reece, played by Pratt, who uncovers a conspiracy after his platoon is ambushed during a covert mission. Wu plays Katie Buranek, a war correspondent who assists Reece in his investigation. The new season premiered on Prime Video on October 21, 2026.
Wu told Fox News Digital that she has never felt safer on a television set due to the number of veterans involved in the production. Pratt confirmed that 17 veterans participated in the season in various roles, including writers, directors, technical advisors, safety coordinators, stuntmen, and actors. Wu explained that in season 2, her character Katie develops a more personal concern for Reece beyond her professional interest in the truth. "She also cares for him as a person a little more, which I think changes a lot of things," Wu said.
