TNA Wrestling has invited Freddy, the viral World Cup fan who has captured widespread attention during the 2026 tournament, to its Slammiversary pay-per-view event at Agganis Arena in Boston.
The invitation adds a professional wrestling chapter to what has already become a cross-country tour of distinctly American experiences for the German soccer supporter, who is also set to watch Germany face Paraguay in the knockout round.
Freddy's Boston Weekend Freddy, who posts under the handle FreddyLA7 on X, framed the wrestling show as an appetizer to the Germany match on June 29.
In a post on X, he described the two-day Boston stretch as "super exciting," noting that he and his group would attend TNA Slammiversary and potentially meet Jeff and Matt Hardy.
