TCS buys Porsche's MHP consulting arm for €320m, with Porsche remaining its anchor client

The €320m ($373m) that Tata Consultancy Services is paying for MHP Management- und IT-Beratung, Porsche's management and IT consulting subsidiary, is a clean enough number.

The arrangement attached to it is less so: Porsche sells the firm and simultaneously agrees to a five-year partnership in which MHP continues supporting Porsche's AI and digitalisation agenda.

The carmaker exits ownership while retaining the services.

MHP, headquartered in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart, employs over 4,500 people globally and works across business transformation, SAP, AI, digitalisation, and connected mobility.
