Ryan closes Svalner Atlas acquisition, adding 500 professionals across Nordic and Benelux markets

Ryan's acquisition of Svalner Atlas Advisors gains the firm a Nordic and Benelux presence spanning seven offices, approximately 500 incoming professionals, and a client base of more than 4,000 across five jurisdictions.

The deal, first announced in June and closed without a disclosed price, is a clean geographic statement. Whether the integration holds together as cleanly is a different question.

The case for the deal is straightforward on the surface.

Svalner Atlas Advisors operates out of Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm, and Turku, covering a stretch of northern Europe where Ryan had limited reach.
