Richard Thomas Arriviello, 61, was driving north in his Mercedes-Benz around 8:50 a.m. 22 when the shooting erupted roughly three miles north of the North Carolina-Virginia state line.
State police said in a press release that Arriviello fired into the Jeep, striking both sisters in the legs. Both were airlifted to a hospital; their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
