The case for Microsoft's (MSFT) artificial intelligence strategy got a sharper set of numbers this quarter.

The company's chief executive reported that enterprise customers deploying Copilot to the majority of their information workers grew by nearly 75% quarter-over-quarter.

Copilot revenue accelerated by more than 60% over the same period. What the deployment figure actually says Two things are true at once about a 75% sequential deployment gain.

It also reveals nothing about the denominator: whether the absolute count of enterprise accounts is large or still in an early range. That said, the read-through deserves attention.
