Country music star Lee Brice, a former scholarship player for the Clemson Tigers, has publicly criticized the current state of college football, citing issues with Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rules and the prospect of professional players returning to college rosters.
Speaking on the "Tomi Lahren is Fearless" show, Brice argued that the sport has lost its traditional passion due to a lack of commitment structures and perceived competitive imbalances.
Brice stated that he is not opposed to the concept of paying college athletes who generate millions of dollars in revenue for their universities.
However, he expressed disappointment that more regulations were not implemented alongside the financial changes.
