Diego Reynoso's resignation as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of The Boston Beer Company (NYSE: SAM), disclosed August 20, 2026 in a current report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, triggered an immediate succession question.

Murphy is not a mystery candidate. He has served as Chief Accounting Officer since 2015 and as Vice President of Finance since 2023.
